Workshop on Basic Suturing Techniques

Indonesian Clinical Training and Education Centre (ICTEC), as a simulation based education centre under Faculty of Medicine University of Indonesia (FKUI) and Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM), will share skills and knowledges to General Practitioners and Medical Students all around Indonesia by organizing WORKSHOP ON BASIC SUTURING TECHNIQUES. This course is endorsed by University of Western Australia.

This course will teach u... all details about sutures and ideal ways of suturing techniques. We'll mimic the real situation by providing you with real animal tissues on hands-on sessions, with suitable number of faculties during the sessions to observe your work carefullly.

- Safety measure and instrument handling
- Knots and tying (using tying knot model)
- Sutures material and basic suturing
- Incision and basic suturing technique
(using animal tissue or suturing pad)
