Guidelines for Poster Exhibition

POSTER SPECIFICATIONS
  1. Your poster should measure 90 cm wide and 120 cm high.
  2. The poster should have the following format:
    1. Title
    2. State the name of Authors. Underline the name of the presenting author.
    3. Institutional/ Affiliation
    4. The main text should be divided into: Introduction, Objective, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion & Key Message
POSTER DISPLAY AND PRESENTATION
Wednesday-Friday, 6-8th October 2010
  1. Poster is to be mounted on Wednesday, 6th October 2010 in the poster exhibition venue from 08.00 hrs onwards.
  2. Your poster board number has been sent to you via email. Please ensure your poster is affixed to the correct poster board.
  3. All the Posters will be evaluated for the Best Poster Award, for the value of USD 500
  4. Posters must be dismounted on Friday, 8th October 2010 by 17.00 hrs.
  5. Any poster that is not collected by the owner on Friday 8th October 2010, 17.30 hrs ; will be discarded. The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the posters.
  6. Registration to the conference is mandatory for presentation of poster. If you have not done so, please do so immediately at http://www.gynecologicsurgery2010.org

Language The official language of Conference is English. All lecturers and presentation will be held in
English only. The official language in Indonesia is Bahasa Indonesia.

Currency

The official currency on Indonesia is the rupiah (Rp). Currency exchange facilities are available
in most banks, hotels and airport.

Business Hour

Business office are usually open from 8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday. Banks generally open
from 8:30 am to 3 pm Monday - Friday. Money changers are open longer.

Climate and Topography

Lying just 80 south of tile Equator, Bali can boast a tropical climate with just rainy season and
dry season during the year. The average temperature of around 28° Celsius, it is a perfect
place to host any activities for the tourist.

Clothing

Informal for all occasions, but short and T Shirt are not advised during week days

Electricity

Electrical current is 220 V/50 Hz and the Indonesia round 2-pin plugs are standard. If your
appliances are 110 V, check if there is a 110/220V switch. If not, you will need voltage converter.

No Smoking

For the comfort and health of all participants, smoking is strictly prohibited in any area of the
building. Thank you for your cooperation.

Travel Insurance

A travel Insurance policy to cover theft, loss and medical problems is recommended. The
Organizing Secretariat will not be held liable for illness, accidents or thefts suffered by
Participants or Accompanying person during the Conference or Their stay in Indonesia before
and after the conference.

Time

Time is 8 hours ahead of Greenwich mean Time

Certificate of Attendance

Will be given to the registered participants at the registration desk at the end of conference
and workshop. *) on the condition attendance and test

Exhibition

A commercial exhibition will be open during the conference. For information, please contact
the Congress Secretariat

Registration & Hotel Reservation

The Participant have to complete the registration form and fax it to the secretariat for data
base purposed. We will produce the registration receipt (confirmation letter) after receiving
the payment. Please take along the receipt with you for re-registration in Bali. Hotel reservation
should be made through the organizing committee. The hotel rate is one night, including
breakfast, tax and service charge. A one night deposit has to be paid as a confirmation of
hotel booking. Check out time is 12:00 pm, later will be charge as one day.

Cancellation

For registration and hotel reservation cancellation
• Any cancellation must be proposed in written document: faxed, or electronically mailed
• There will be 50% charge for written cancellation received one month before the symposium.
• No refund for cancellation received later than 2 weeks before the symposium.
• All refunds will be processed after symposium.

Badges (Name Tag)

All participants, accompanying persons and exhibition are kindly requested to wear their badges
throughout the meeting in order to be admitted to the lecture halls and other scheduled
activities.
